  49.     I just started using Chameleon 4.0.  I'm having real trouble getting 
  50. some of my non-chameleon winsock apps working, specifically my finger daemon 
  51. (wsfingrd.exe).  Also, NewtNEWS is great, but it is dreadfully slow in updating 
  52. my newgroups, and I only read 5.
  53.     Any ideas?  Also, the ftp sites of the latestest patches would be 
  54. greatly appreciated.  Thanx a ton.

  85. Is your VAX running Ultrix?  Then the answer is probably yes, otherwise the
  86. answer is probably no.

  88. PC Eudora uses the same format as standard Unix mailboxes/mail spool files.
  89. The only tricky thing is to make sure that you get the end-of-line
  90. conventions correct when you transfer the mailboxes.  Unix boxes use \n (LF)
  91. for end-of-line, and PCs use \r\n (CR-LF).  If you ftp the mailboxes from
  92. your Vax to your PC in ascii mode, the translation will be done for you.
  93. Put the mailboxes in your mail directory and add an .MBX extension to them
  94. so that Eudora will know that they're mailboxes.
